Who I Am

Taryn is the founder of Inner Temple, a nervous system–centered massage practice devoted to deep restoration through slow, intentional bodywork. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and later completed her massage therapy training at the Cincinnati School of Medical Massage in 2023.

Taryn’s approach to massage is deeply shaped by her personal healing journey. After losing her eye to cancer as a child, she underwent multiple reconstructive surgeries, experiences that gave her an intimate understanding of how trauma, medical stress, and recovery live within the nervous system—not just the body.

Through her own healing, Taryn came to understand the importance of self-care practices that support regulation rather than force. She experienced how safety, pacing, and presence can profoundly impact the body’s ability to relax, recover, and rebalance.

This philosophy became the foundation of Inner Temple. Taryn believes the nervous system is the body’s inner temple—the place where healing begins when the body feels safe. Her work is rooted in the understanding that chronic tension is often a response to nervous system overwhelm, whether from traumatic experiences or the cumulative stress of everyday life.

At Inner Temple, Taryn offers nervous system–regulating massage and CBD-infused bodywork designed to be unhurried, grounding, and deeply calming. Each session prioritizes regulation, rest, and a luxury experience that allows the body to soften naturally.

Taryn is passionate about helping clients reconnect with their bodies, restore balance, and find relief through care that honors the nervous system’s need for safety, gentleness, and time.
